Air Pressures

Alright here is one that I hear a lot while working, if you just so happen to own a new vehicle that is equipped with the tire pressure monitor system (TPMS) there are some things that you should know! If you are going by an email that you received saying that your tire pressures should be checked there is something wrong. On pretty much all vehicles equipped with the TMPS you can use the display where your odometer is to find out where your tire pressures are at.

If you do not know how to get to your tire pressures for some reason just comment with your year, make, and model of vehicle and I will do my best to find you the information needed to get you to the tire pressure display. Also don't always trust what the TMPS is telling you as far as what tire pressure is low or high because I know from experience that when you are new and even experienced technician you can forget to relearn the TMPS to the location of each tire so make sure that the specific tire your adding air to is indeed the one flat if not just tell the technician that your tires need to be relearned as well.
